Family Name Ornament

Family Name Ornament

Personalize your Christmas tree with ornaments that spell out your family name. They’re so festive and fun!

What You Need:

  • wood letters
  • acrylic paint
  • toothpick
  • ribbon

How to Make It:

  1. Lay out the letters in order. Paint the first letter green, skip over the next letter, and paint the third letter green. Continue the pattern until you reach the end of your surname. Paint the remaining letters red. Let the paint dry completely.
  2. Use a toothpick to make tiny dots, lines, or swirls on the green letters using white paint. Use a second toothpick to add gold designs to the red letters.
  3. When the paint is dry, add ribbon to hang the ornaments.

This project was created by Amanda Formaro, originally for Kaboose/Spoonful.
