February was the month of love. I would have thought that some of the fabulous Valentine’s Day crafts that were featured would have dominated the top 5. Much to my surprise there was only one and that was #5! Instead Dr. Seuss and Leap Year were the most popular. No surprise with the release of the fun new Seuss inspired movie The Lorax and Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd. So without further delay, here are the top 5 projects for February 2012.
Our #1 craft for February was this adorable piece of art called “Things on Parade”. Made from painted handprints these Dr. Seuss Handprint Things are brought to us by Joyfully Weary.
#2 in the top 5 are these gorgeous and colorful Rainbow Eggs that would be perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Made from jello your kids will have a blast making these. Brought to us by the blog Choose to Thrive.
This adorable Leap Year Frog Puppet came in at #3. Don’t wait 4 years to make it though, spring is right around the corner and frogs are great for that season. We found this at Lakeshore Learning.
Our 4th favorite for February is another Dr. Seuss project, though this time it’s edible! These super cute Cat in the Hat Marshmallow Pops are a fun treat while listening to a story. These cute sweet treats come from Mega Crafty.
Coming in at #5 these hanging Crayon Hearts from the Martha Stewart website were actually the #1 top post in January. Fun and pretty to boot!
Thank you to all the talented crafters out there for sharing their genius with the online world so that we are able to discover them and share them with everyone at Fun Family Crafts!
