Frankenstein Crafts and Recipes

You might think that Frankenstein Day would be in October. Seems like the logical time of year, right? Actually, Frankenstein Day is on August 30th, and it’s not because someone got confused or because they just like the Frankenstein monster. August 30th is the birthday of Mary Shelley, the author of the book Frankenstein, which she wrote in 1818. Here at Fun Family Crafts, we’ve gathered over 60 Frankenstein crafts and recipes for you to try in August, October, or any time of year! Below are ten of our favorites.

1. Frankens’mores Pops– You don’t see Frankenstein and S’mores together often, but it’s a brilliant pairing. This tasty treat is easy to do and lots of fun!

2. Frankenstein Milk Jug Piñata – Turn an empty milk jug and tissue paper into a clever piñata that looks just like Frankenstein.

3. Frankenstein Slime – Halloween doesn’t have to mean candy. Any kid would be delighted with a jar of Frankenstein Slime!

4. Frank Spork – You know you’re a crafter when you see a black spork and turn it into Frankenstein! Give this unique craft a go this Halloween.

5. Frankenstein Card – Send Halloween greetings to friends or family with this fun Frankie card. Get out the sandpaper and start creating!

6. Frankenstein Nutter Butter Cookies – Make Frankenstein cookies with the kids! Purchased cookies, candy melts, and a tube of black gel icing make it simple.

7. Frankenstein Popcorn Box – Anyone would love to make (or receive!) this Frankenstein popcorn box at Halloween. It’s definitely a treat and not a trick!

8. Healthy Frankenstein Treats – These Frankenstein apple treats are easy to make and a healthy, no-candy option for a Halloween party or celebration.
