Very cute idea but I have a WARNING for you! Marshmallows are the number 1 choking hazard for children! I learned this in a required first aid class we must take each year in after-school.If the marshmallow gets stuck in a childs throat,it of course gets gooey and will be tough to get back up…….don’t want to rain on your parade, just wanted to send this out there! Please not hate mail!P.S….For OLDER children you could use a thin pretzel stick for the stem!

No hate mail! 🙂 Any information on what causes choking in young children is certainly worth sharing with the rest of us! I’m fine with adding “for older kids only” to all things marshmallow! I didn’t give my own toddler marshmallows until after she turned 3, and I don’t leave her alone eating them or anything that can be a hazard, like grapes (luckily she’s not a huge fan of marshmallows anyway). I’m kind of nuts about choking hazards, so this warning is a good one for me!
