December is a month filled with Christmas crafts, winter projects and snowman ideas galore! That’s why when I saw the top two projects for December I was quite surprised! Not because they aren’t worthy as they absolutely are, but because neither has anything to do with winter or the holidays. It just goes to show that a good idea is a good idea, no matter what season it is. :)

Mini Jello AquariumsThese adorable Mini Jell-O Aquariums were actually #3 in November’s most popular round up. For December they hit the #1 most popular spot by a landslide. We absolutely love this adorable project from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen.

Word gameComing in at #2 for December, this Word Family Flip Chart is a brilliantly simple educational craft project. This is perfect for keeping little minds sharp all year long! Thanks to Quirky Momma for the great idea.

Snowman KabobsOur third most popular post for December are these absolutely adorable Marshmallow Snowman Kabobs from the blog Flexible Dreams. Snowmen are among my favorites, so these are always going to be in my top ten!

Melted snowman ornamentOur #4 pick is this sweet Melted Snowman Ornament made from glue! A great project for little ones to make with you. We found this fun idea over at Craft Elf.

Handprint snowman ball ornamentClosing out our top five, at #5, is this sweet Handprint Snowman Ball Ornament. Probably one of the best keepsake gift ideas I have seen in a long time. This sweet version comes from the blog Living Life Intentionally.

Thank you to all the talented crafters out there for sharing their genius with the online world so that we are able to discover them and share them with everyone at Fun Family Crafts!

If your project was featured here, please feel free to grab a Top 5 button to display on your post or sidebar!

Don’t miss all the other great winter crafts for kids!

Thanks you for the top 5 award! I love all the fun ideas I see at your blog! Quick random question – I submitted 2 things this am (Pooh preschool pack & crayon artwork) but it gave me weird errors both times – did you get them?

I LOVE the hand print snow family ornament. My daughter’s class made these 2 yrs. ago when she was in 1st grade. It’s an awesome keepsake!
