100 Days of School with 100 Candles on the CakeCelebrate the 100th day of school in a big way with this birthday cake decorated with 100 candles! Don’t try to eat it ,though, it’s made from Styrofoam and moldeling clay…and that wouldn’t taste too good!

My daughter and I made the cake last night for her 100 days of school project. Woke up this morning and the modeling clay has cracked all over, especially in the areas where I put in the candles. Is the clay suppost the crack? any suggestions?
    Thank you so much

Hi Alisa. You may want to click over to the actual post where this project came from and ask over there. However I did a little googling and read somewhere that when placing Model Magic over the top of something it can crack. Crayola’s website doesn’t really have any information about it. However, I did find this http://www.crayola.com/products/splash/model_magic/model_magic_fusion/index.cfm which talks about Model Magic Fusion which they boast will not crack.
